Germany Day 13: Last Full Day - Completing the Circle

The circle was complete. We were back in Berlin and flying back to the States the following day. We ate dinner at the same restaurant that we ate at the first day. Since I described our last day in the first blog on Germany, I won't repeat myself here. So this will be short and sweet.

We feel grateful and blessed to have been able to return to Germany, because we know others are not so lucky. We were sad to hear that one of the fine gentlemen, who shared the experience with us in Germany thirty years ago, passed away suddenly last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and may they find comfort in the memories they share.

Now that I've completed telling you about our Germany trip, I'll continue with the other highlights of 2018 in the coming weeks.
